Dear Earth, I love you. I am infatuated with your beauty. From a distance your vibrant blue and white against that cold black void. You radiate with life. So tender, so magnificent.

Your oceans swirl, exhaling oxygen. Your soil is so rich. All creatures are blessed to be in your presence.

I am listening to you. You are hurting. While portions of your ancient spirit remain, you have been decimated by the very humans you helped create. I see fear in our eyes. We may have gone too far. Will we save you? I don't know.

But we can! We must. How many more are out there like you? Not many I suppose. We look for life on other planets. There must be some for sure. But none just like you. You are special, one in a universe. You are ours.
